President's Day weekend in St. George, February 2018

Claire was down in Phoenix for a soccer tournament. Sharon's team was in another one, commuting to and playing in Mesquite, NV. Various others family members were running or sitting around, here and there. The odd thing happened, like the two hikes, the out for dinner and out for breakfast, Norway dominating, but Germany and Canada still in the photo, the stroll through and around the whole Sunday afternoon neighbourhood, the entire movie that Lucy watched on Grandpa's lap, the Parade of Homes and its resultant angst, the good old St. George LDS temple, and the incident with that little purse that Lucy clearly did not approve of. Also, this matter of the 30 years. And finally, as epilogue, one of the lengthiest St. George to Springville drives ever recorded.

Good times! A few photos:

Indoor soccer

Sarah and Eric are on a co-ed team, playing down at the Peaks arena. Tonight they are the guests. Things are going pretty well. (Note/hint: girl goals are worth two ...)
