We went to the Lake District. We stayed in Ambleside.

Here's our B&B (left), established 1869, at which time the Confederation of Canada was two years old.
















The lakehead, at the north end of Windermere.  It is almost indecently picturesque around here.
































We went to Borrans Park.  Yobs, in Paradise!

We called some extraordinarily accommodating and courteous young restaurateurs, who brang us pizza, drinks, and material wherewith to clean ourselves.
