The Eclipse

It's happening right now! Camera looked, cameraman didn't

Signs and wonders! Here are some semi-official, possibly even scientifical images of what we exerienced yesterday.

Our family waged this war on several fronts. Sharon and Janice (co-directors of the Provo rec centre's Tumbling Tots program) were handing shades to their gymnastical infants and ushering them outside. All proceeded with the childlike faith that said infants wouldn't go looking innocently up, and burning out their innocenet retinas. We're pleased to report that the early returns are encouraging!

Spencer offered astronomical comfort and counsel at the learning commons desk of BYU's Harold B. Lee Library. He estimates that 28 of the morning's 30 phone calls were sun-related. The other two asked when the library closed today, and what is an e-book.

Drew was up in Idaho, right in the phenomenon's very pathway! “Saw the ring,” she said.

Matt and Claire headed east, to the Taylors' place. There they encountered various neighbourhood refugees, comforting themselves by various means.
