From our European correspondents

Story of the week. As we went on our way to our world war I sight in Ieper (Ypres) last Monday, we enjoyed the train ride and the beautiful scenery and being in Belgium. After a while we thought, we should be getting close, but we hadn't arrived yet. Then we noticed that the country was getting less flat, and it was a nice change. We also noticed that the buildings were getting a little grungier. Also not a bad change. Then, as we went further, we wondered to ourselves if either of us had ever heard of the Belgian city "Nord Frans." OH NO! We're proud to say that this week we joined the 3 country club. We arrived in Little Flandres after two hours on the train, asked the French conductor how to get back to Antwerpen, but he doesn't speak anything but French, so we just jumped on the next northern train and then somehow ended up in Brussels. At least it's in mission boundaries! We got out, got a waffle, then went home. I did take a picture in the French station, so imagine our French selfie. Spencer and I were in the same land!

I got to have my first cheese course. It's really funny. They just bring out a couple different types of cheese and you eat a few slices. French people love their cheese. It comes up all the time. If a contact isn't going well, just bring up cheese.
