Eric, Eric's mum Sandra, Sarah's original Mum and Dad, and Grandma Anderson were in proud attendance.
The ceremony took place at the U's venerable Kingsbury Hall (where we'd previously gone to see, for instance, Arlo Guthrie and Jeff Beck).
Interestingly, as far as we could see, this/she/Sarah was the only athlete-sashed graduate in the College of Fine Arts. (And soccer paid for this ceremony too! Grateful, and grateful, and grateful ...)

We went in and sat down. An excellent faculty saxophone quartet played the music, including a restrained and really striking arrangement of Mr. Elgar's old graduation warhorse.
