Food, glorious food

Drew flew to London on Sunday May 20, then flew back on Sunday May 27 of this 2018. She came to see some shows, visit some exhibitions, look at that one Gainsborough painting in the National Gallery that she likes so much, to walk around and shoot the breeze and generally lounge about.

But she also came to eat. She had an eating plan, and she executed it. She was kind enough to drag her willing but slow-footed/minded, her slow-footed/minded but willing father along. These are the results.

Monday, May 21. Royal China Restaurant, Baker Street.

Tuesday, May 22. Dishoom, Upper St. Martin's Lane, Covent Garden.

Wednesday, May 23. The Barbary, Neal's Yard/Seven Dials, Covent Garden.

Still Wednesday, May 23, which is to say they got hungry again. Flat Iron, Henrietta Street, Covent Garden.

Thursday, May 24. Wright Brothers, Old Brompton Road, South Kensington.

Friday, May 25. Cinnamon Bazaar, Maiden Lane, Covent Garden.

Saturday, May 26. Raison D'etre, Bute Street, South Kensington.

And again, and finally, La Pappardella, Old Brompton Road, Earl's Court.

Whoo!

This was a food post, which we realize can be an indulgent and tiresome cliché. Except when the food post is not simply, not really a food post.

Relationships are renewed and refreshed when people do things together. Drew flew to London on Sunday May 20, then flew back on Sunday May 27 of this 2018.
