Picasso exhibition at the Tate Modern

Drew and Dad went. The show drew almost exclusively from the year 1932, during which this volcanic, preposterously prolific (and hard-working!) painter produced over 100 major, large scale works.

Is it unduly puritanical to bring this up? The work also reflects the life: considerable disorder and un-discipline are evident! Plus, relatedly, nudity warning. Plus, paradoxically, at least kind of blessedly, this disorder also informs and even makes possible this positively worshipful aggregation of amazing images. It's hard to be a goddess, probably, especially when your divinity seems to be solely rooted in your fertility, or sensuality. And yet, is there something to this?
