On Friday, June 15, we walked and we walked and we walked

We took the train out to Versailles, and walked some 3 km. to the north, to the LDS Temple in Le Chesnay, then back to the palace, and through the grounds, and then to the Champs de Mar tube stop ...

... (in the 7e). From there, on foot, circuitously and eye-poppingly, we walked to the Notre Dame Cathedral, on the Ile de la Cité. 

That was 12 miles or so, all told. We survived!

Then we went back and watched the Spain/Portugal World Cup game, and ate raw meat ...
